Dr. Gary Genosko is a Full Professor in the Department of Communication and Digital Media Studies at Ontario Tech University’s Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. He holds a PhD in Social and Political Thought from York University (1992). A leading scholar in technoculture, Genosko’s work bridges communication theory, continental philosophy, and critical semiotics. He served as Canada Research Chair in Technoculture Studies (2002-2012) and has held visiting professorships at institutions including the University of Sydney and University of Toronto.
