Dr. Gary Boyd is a Lecturer in the School of Health and Life Sciences. His research focuses on receptor biology, pharmacology, and the effects of dietary supplements on intestinal enzymes. Current work examines branched-chain amino acids' impact on intestinal alkaline phosphatase. He has contributed to studies in cardiovascular disease biomarkers, neurodegenerative disorders, and exercise physiology.
