Gale R. Burstein

Gale R. Burstein is a Research Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health at the University at Buffalo. Her research focuses on strategies to improve confidential reproductive health care for adolescents and young adults, and post-marketing surveillance for the OraQuick rapid HIV-1 antibody test. She is affiliated with the Erie County Department of Health and maintains a scholarly presence via PubMed.

Dr. Burstein holds an MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
