Gail Davidge

Gail Davidge is a Research Fellow in the Division of Population Health, Health Services Research & Primary Care. She holds expertise in qualitative research and engages underserved populations in healthcare and education contexts. Her work focuses on patient online health records access in England, supporting NHS policy transformation and Patient/Public Involvement. She completed her PhD in 2014 at Manchester Metropolitan University, studying cooperative schools, and was a Research Associate at the University of Central Lancashire (2015–2018).

Her research interests include digital health, health inequalities, and ethical participatory methods. She has presented at conferences on AI applications in healthcare and health data stewardship, with over 28 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Her work contributes to UN SDGs related to education and health equity. Awards include Chartered Psychologist status.
