Gabrielle Cabrera is a César Chávez Postdoctoral Fellow at Dartmouth College's Department of Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies. Her research focuses on undocumented migrants in rural California, particularly the sociocultural dimensions of citizenship waiting processes. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Rutgers University (2024) and a B.A. from the University of California, Merced (2017).

- Anthropology of kinship structures
- Agricultural labor dynamics and social movements
- Gender studies with a focus on affect and desire
- Ethnographic methodologies and narrative production
