Gabriele Müller

Dr. Gabriele Müller is a permanent academic staff member (Researcher) in the Department of Social Pedagogy at the University of Tübingen’s Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. She coordinates vocational teacher training programs for social pedagogy and leads projects focused on inclusion, multiprofessional collaboration, and education for sustainable development (ESD) in early childhood contexts.

• Education: PhD in Educational Science (summa cum laude, 2020), MA in Social Pedagogy (University of Tübingen).

Her research examines the theory-practice relationship in childcare, emphasizing inclusive education, reconstructive social research, and professional identity. Recent work (2020–2024) explores team dynamics, ESD implementation, and staffing challenges in childcare facilities.
