Gabriele Russo is a Ph.D. candidate in Zooarchaeology at the University of Tübingen under the ERC project REVIVE, focusing on Late Pleistocene Lebanese faunal material. His work bridges traditional zooarchaeological methods with isotopic analysis, paleoproteomics, and geometric morphometrics to study human cognition evolution and subsistence strategies during Paleolithic transitional periods.
