Gabriele Kaminski Schierle

Professor Gabriele Kaminski Schierle is affiliated with the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and collaborates with other researchers, including Professor Clemens Kaminski, Professor J. Axel Zeitler, and Professor Sabine Bahn. Her research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases and advanced imaging technologies.

Her work spans Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's diseases, utilizing brain organoids, fluorescence lifetime imaging, and machine learning. She leads the Molecular Neuroscience Group and contributes to the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sensor Technologies and Applications.
