Gabriel Chan is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs in the Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) area. He serves as Co-Director of the Center for Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy and the Electric Cooperative Innovation Center. His work focuses on equitable energy transition, distributed energy resources, and consumer-owned utilities.
Education: PhD in Public Policy (Harvard University, 2015); dual BS degrees in Political Science and Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science from MIT (2009).
