Gabor Toth is a Research Professor at the University of Michigan's Department of Climate and Space in the College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics from Princeton University (1993) and has been at the University of Michigan since 2014, previously serving as a Research Scientist there (2007-2014). He has also held academic roles at Eotvos Lorand University (2001-2007) as Associate Professor and Researcher.
