G. Sayeed Choudhury

G. Sayeed Choudhury is the Associate Dean for Digital Infrastructure and Director of the Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) at Carnegie Mellon Libraries. He is an affiliated faculty member of the Block Center for Technology and Society and Executive Director of the Open Forum for AI. His work focuses on AI, energy, climate, and community involvement.

Choudhury’s research explores intersections of AI, open source software, and digital infrastructure, with emphasis on sustainable data curation frameworks. His work spans biomedical data, open science, and policy advocacy, including contributions to global health dashboards and digital preservation standards.
