G. Sayeed Choudhury is the Associate Dean for Digital Infrastructure and Director of the Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) at Carnegie Mellon Libraries. He is an affiliated faculty member of the Block Center for Technology and Society and Executive Director of the Open Forum for AI. His work focuses on AI, energy, climate, and community involvement.

His work spans biomedical data, open science, and policy advocacy, including contributions to global health dashboards and digital preservation standards.
