معرفی
Géraldine Brunoud is a Researcher at the Plant Reproduction and Development (RDP) laboratory, affiliated with Université de Lyon. She supports research projects across plant biology, specializing in floral morphogenesis, corn development, and hormonal signaling. Her career includes collaborations with teams led by Jan Traas and Teva Vernoux, focusing on plant developmental processes. She has held temporary contracts since 2001, securing full-time CNRS employment in 2006. Beyond academia, she contributed to botanical trail creation and mountain summer camps. She holds a Master's in Biology from the University of Saint-Etienne and has conducted internships at INRA (Antibes/Sophia Antipolis) studying chili and oomycetes. Her research emphasizes empirical experimentation and molecular techniques.
Research Interests: Plant morphological diversity, floral meristem dynamics, hormonal signaling in development, and plant static-evolutionary balance. Techniques include molecular cartography and microscopy analysis.
Awards: Crystal Prize recipient. Personal highlights include a growing botanical herbarium and upcoming second child due in August.
Grants & Collaborations: Participated in the European MAZE project (corn research) and worked on arabidopsis with Charlie Scutt and Françoise Moneger.
