Furu Mienis

Furu Mienis is a Senior Scientist at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ), specializing in Biogeosciences. Their research bridges sedimentology, ecology, and physical oceanography to study deep-sea ecosystems such as cold-water coral reefs, sponge grounds, and submarine canyons.
