Fuad Aleskerov

Fuad Aleskerov is a Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Mathematics for Economics (since 2003) and Head of the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis (since 2009). He also holds the Mark Aizerman Chair at the Institute of Control Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences (since 2001).

Research interests span decision theory, game theory, social choice, operations research, and conflict mathematics. His work focuses on mathematical modeling of complex socio-economic systems and decision-making processes.

Awards and honors include prestigious Russian accolades such as the Vavilov and Popov Scientific Society first prizes, the Order 'For Merit II' medal, and the Walter Scott Award for contributions to information technology and decision analysis.

As an editorial board member of journals like Mathematical Social Sciences and Group Decisions and Negotiation, he contributes significantly to academic discourse. He has presented over 100 invited lectures globally and is active in professional societies including the International Economic Association and American Mathematical Society.
