Fu-Tong Liu

Dr. Fu-Tong Liu is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. Previously Distinguished Professor and Chair at UC-Davis, he served as Vice President of Academia Sinica in Taiwan before returning to USC.

His research program focuses on the galectin family of animal lectins and their functions in immune/inflammatory responses and skin diseases. With over 317 publications and 43,420 citations (h-index 111), he studies autoimmune skin diseases, mast-cell mediated conditions, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.
