Maria Teresa Ochoa

Maria Teresa Ochoa is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. She directs the Hansen's clinic at LAC+USC Medical Center and provides clinical services at Keck Medicine of USC – Beverly Hills and Healthcare Consultation Center II. Previously, she practiced for 10 years at UCLA Division of Dermatology.

Her research focuses on infectious skin diseases, particularly HIV-related dermatology, tropical dermatology, sexually transmitted infections, and the immunologic mechanisms in skin infections. Dr. Ochoa serves uninsured populations at LAC+USC Medical Center and directs the Hansen's clinic, demonstrating commitment to underserved communities. Her clinical practice covers general dermatology including acne, eczema, skin cancer, and psoriasis management.
