Fritz W. Scharpf

Prof. emer. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Fritz W. Scharpf is an Emeritus Director at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) in Cologne. He holds honorary doctorates from institutions such as the Humboldt University Berlin (2003) and the European University Institute (2008). His research focuses on political economy, multi-level governance, and European integration.
