Dr Fredrick U Mbanaso serves as Senior Lecturer in Built Environment at the University of Greenwich's School of Engineering, co-leading the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment BSc (Top-up) programme while acting as subject expert for SBCS College (Trinidad & Tobago) and HKU SPACE (Hong Kong).
His academic credentials include:

Research expertise spans Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management; Sustainable Drainage Systems; Stormwater harvesting; Environmental pollution attenuation and biodegradation; Environmental Microbiology; Ecotoxicology; and Sustainable Water Resources. His work integrates analytical methodologies in environmental microbiology with sustainable water resource management through industry-linked consultancy projects.
As an academic mentor, Dr Mbanaso successfully guides MSc students toward PhD candidacy, resulting in completed doctorates and ongoing supervision. He has led consultancy research for Coventry University's Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR), with project outputs supporting institutional Key Metrics and Horizon 2020 bid pilots.
