Frederik Schwerter is an Associate Professor of Microeconomics at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since September 2021. Previously, he served as Assistant Professor at the University of Cologne (2016–2021) and conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University (2017–2018). He holds a PhD from the University of Bonn (2016) and a diploma in economics from the same institution (2010). His research focuses on experimental studies of bounded rationality, encompassing behavioral economics, labor economics, and political economy.

Research Interests:
His work examines cognitive biases in decision-making, including associative memory effects, intertemporal choice biases, and social reference points.
