Frederico Fezas Vital

Frederico Fezas Vital is a Lecturer at CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business & Economics, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where he teaches 'Building Impact Ventures' and serves as the first Social Entrepreneur in Residence. He is also the CEO of Junior Achievement Portugal and actively collaborates with INSEAD on social entrepreneurship programs.

His research and professional focus lies in social entrepreneurship, impact innovation, and positive leadership. He has designed and led over 25 social entrepreneurship bootcamps with IES-SBS and INSEAD, promoting actionable methodologies for launching impactful ventures. His work bridges academia and practice, emphasizing emotional health, sustainability, and systemic change in education and organizations.

Frederico has been recognized with several honors, including:

• Citizenship Award by Rádio Clube Português (2009)
• High Potential Social Entrepreneurship Project recognition (2011)

He has led national and international initiatives with Ashoka Portugal, OECD, and the Global Change Leaders, prototyping the first Changemaker Learning Ecosystem. He has advised and mentored numerous emerging social entrepreneurs and delivered keynotes at major corporations such as Microsoft, McDonald’s, and Johnson & Johnson. He is also associated with a consultancy focused on social impact and innovation.
