Frauke Rostalski

Prof. Frauke Rostalski is a Professor at the University of Cologne's Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. She serves as founding spokesperson of the Research Center for Law and Ethics of Digital Transformation and Scientific Director of the Legal Tech Lab Cologne. Her work bridges criminal law, medical law, and digital ethics, focusing on AI accountability, legal tech innovations, and societal impacts of digital transformation. She leads a Fraunhofer-funded project developing AI certification standards in collaboration with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
