Fraser MacAulay is a Professor of Oboe and Deputy Head of Department (Woodwind) at the Guildhall School. He holds a Zoology degree from Durham University, followed by postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Royal College of Music. His career includes roles as second oboe/cor anglais with major orchestras like the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Symphony Orchestra. He is an oboe tutor at the London Centre for Young Musicians and coaches the London Schools Symphony Orchestra's woodwind section.
