Françoise Guillemot

Françoise Guillemot is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Nantes, working within the UFR Psychology (Faculty of Psychology). She holds a dual role bridging quantitative methods and psychological research, with extensive teaching experience in statistics, psychometrics, and computer science applications for psychology students.

Her research focuses on inclusive education, particularly examining:

• School inclusion practices for children with disabilities
• Teachers' attitudes toward inclusive education
• Quality of life and well-being at school for students with special educational needs
• Parent perceptions of inclusive education quality

Her work primarily employs quantitative methodologies and focuses on the French educational context.

Professor Guillemot's recent publications (2020-2025) demonstrate a consistent research trajectory examining inclusive education from multiple perspectives. Her work shows particular strength in methodological rigor, with publications on questionnaire validation, meta-analysis, and addressing research biases in educational studies. The majority of her publications appear in specialized journals focused on special education, inclusive education, and educational psychology.

Professor Guillemot serves in several administrative capacities at the university, including as chair of the CEV Parcoursup committee. She has also been responsible for digital certification programs (PIX and previously C2i) at the psychology faculty, reflecting her expertise in quantitative methods and technology applications in education.

She completed her PhD in developmental and educational psychology in 2023, with research focusing on the relationship between teacher attitudes and the quality of inclusive education as perceived by parents of children with disabilities.
