François Hartog

François Hartog is a distinguished historian and current Directeur d'Études at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), holding the Chair of Historiography Ancient and Modern since 1987. He previously taught at Université de Metz (1985-1987) and Université de Strasbourg (1975-1985).
