Patrick Cousot is a Professor of Computer Science at École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris, France, where he directs educational activities and leads the ENS-CNRS-INRIA joint project team "Abstraction." He has held academic positions at École Polytechnique (1984–1997), University of Metz (1979–1984), New York University (2008), and MIT (2005) as a J. C. Hunsaker Distinguished Visiting Professor.
