Frank Ow

Frank Ow is an academic faculty member affiliated with the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. Since earning his Ph.D. in 2007, he has taught chemistry courses ranging from introductory general chemistry to advanced organic chemistry at various institutions in Los Angeles County, including four-year universities and community colleges. His teaching primarily focuses on undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students.

• Research Focus: Gas-phase photofragmentation of metal-organic compounds under the mentorship of Dr. Jeffrey I. Zink.
• Honors: Multiple awards, including the Ralph Bauer Undergraduate Research Award (2001), Teaching Assistant Award (2002), and Ralph Bauer Dissertation Award (2007).
