Frank Gevurtz is a Professor of Law at the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. He is recognized as a leading authority on corporate law, with influential works such as Corporation Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law. His scholarship has been cited by multiple U.S. Supreme Courts and federal courts, and he has made significant contributions to teaching through his Business Planning casebook and the development of the Global Issues book series for integrating international perspectives into core law courses.
His research spans corporate law doctrine, historical and comparative corporate governance, extraterritorial legal application, and securities regulation.
