Frank Appunn

Frank Appunn is Professor of Cybersecurity and Project Management at Thomas College, specializing in governance, risk, and compliance. With industry experience founding security companies, he teaches across BS to PhD levels and consults for organizations including SecureMaine and InfraGard.

His research focuses on critical infrastructure protection and security management. Dr. Appunn has chaired 8 doctoral dissertations and served on 12 dissertation committees. He holds CISSP certification and corporate governance credentials from Tulane Law School. Professional affiliations include ISSA, IEEE, and ACM.
