Dr. Branden R. Williams is an Adjunct Professor at the Gupta College of Business, University of Dallas, specializing in cybersecurity and compliance. He holds CISSP and CISM certifications with three business degrees (BBA, MBA, DBA). His research focuses on consumer behavior post-data breaches and retail digitization impacts.
Education: BBA, MBA, DBA (Dissertation: Digitization in Retail). Professional Experience: Over 25 years in technology, security, and executive roles including SVP at MUFG Union Bank. He co-founded two tech companies and served on global boards like PCICo and EMVCo.
Research Interests: Cybersecurity frameworks, PCI compliance, digital privacy, and threat mitigation. He authored five books on PCI standards and numerous articles/columns in ISSA Journal, Tactics & Preparedness, and others. His work emphasizes real-world experience in security solutions.
