Francisco Javier Franconetti Manchado

Dr. Francisco Javier Franconetti Manchado serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where he has been part of the teaching staff since 2014 and affiliated with the university since 2005. His academic appointments span multiple degree programs including Economics, Business Administration, Tourism, and related dual-degree combinations across campuses in Mallorca.

He holds a PhD in Applied Economics and Statistics from UNED (National University of Distance Education) and a Master's degree in Tax Consulting and Accounting from the Center for Financial Studies. His research portfolio centers on wealth distribution and economic inequality, complemented by significant work in heritage and cultural tourism economics. Franconetti has contributed to the Consell Econòmic i Social de Illes Balears since its foundation and maintains active participation in research projects and academic conferences.
