Francisco Arenas-Dolz is an Associate Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Valencia, Spain. He co-founded and directs the Knowledge Society Lab (LSC) and holds a dual PhD from the University of Valencia and the University of Bologna (as a Royal College of Spain fellow). His research focuses on communication theory, rhetoric, hermeneutics, and the intersection of technology/social media with civic education and public policy.

His work explores Nietzsche’s methodologies through genetic criticism and lecture analysis, as well as the reception of Nietzsche in Spanish academia. He has been a visiting researcher at multiple universities and currently holds an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Arenas-Dolz advises EU policy initiatives, serves on editorial boards for journals like Nietzsche-Studien, and evaluates grants for the European Commission’s Research and Education agencies.
