Faustino Fabbianelli

Faustino Fabbianelli is a Professor of History of Philosophy at the University of Parma's Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries. He has held academic positions at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, University of Calabria, and University of Cagliari. Since 2016, he has served as President of the Inter-University Master's Degree Course in Philosophy.

His education includes an M.A. from the University of Florence (1992) and a Ph.D. from the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (1998). His research spans Classical German philosophy, Italian philosophy, German phenomenology, and Enlightenment thought, with focus areas in transcendental philosophy, ontology, and psychology.

Fabbianelli has supervised numerous students including 10+ BA/MA theses and 2 PhD dissertations. His research has been supported by prestigious fellowships from DAAD, DFG, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and others. He has organized international conferences on Wolff, Husserl, and Reinhold, and serves on editorial boards for journals including Journal of Transcendental Philosophy and Studia Reinholdiana.
