Francesco Buscemi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Arts, affiliated with the Research Centre for Historical Studies (CHS). He holds a Ph.D. from Scuola Normale Superiore and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2016). His expertise spans Eighteenth-century culture, the French Revolution, Napoleonic Age, History of Politics and Administration, History of Emotions, and Cultural history of Catholicism.
