Francesco Andreoli is an Associate Professor at the University of Verona's Department of Economics. His research focuses on public economics, inequality measurement, and the role of public policy in addressing socioeconomic disparities. He holds a PhD from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, and has conducted research at LISER (Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research). His work explores distributional issues such as intergenerational and spatial inequality, with a particular emphasis on policy interventions to reduce inequality (redistribution and predistribution). He also contributes to methodological advancements in inequality measurement and statistical inference.
Andreoli teaches courses on international trade, economic development, and inequality at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
