Dr. Frances J. Griffith is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the NIDA T32 program through Yale School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry, Division of Prevention and Community Research. As a registered board-certified art therapist and clinical-community psychologist, she develops interventions for marginalized populations in recovery.
Her research examines three primary areas: peer-led healthcare programs, multi-level stigma reduction strategies, and scalable digital/art-based interventions for mental health and substance use. Current projects employ innovative methods including social media analysis, NLP of intervention feedback, and RCT designs for art-based interventions.
Recent publications demonstrate expertise in digital health evaluation, online community support mechanisms, and arts-based therapeutic approaches. Her work consistently focuses on health equity for populations with intersecting marginalized identities.
