Amelia Stanton

Amelia Stanton is Assistant Professor at Boston University and Principal Investigator of the Sexual, Reproductive, and Mental Health Disparities Program. Her research addresses psychological barriers to sexual/reproductive health, mental health-substance use intersections, and psychosocial interventions for marginalized populations globally. She focuses on women, gender-diverse individuals, and communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Stanton holds a PhD from UT Austin, completed clinical training at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, and received a T32 fellowship in global psychiatry.
