Kirsty Griffiths is a Research Fellow at King's College London's Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge's Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit. Her research focuses on understanding mechanisms underlying mood, anxiety, and stress-related disorders in adolescents, particularly neurodiverse populations. Currently, she leads the 'My Emotions and Me Over Time' project under the RE-STAR initiative, investigating early depressive symptom onset in neurodiverse adolescents. Previously, she contributed to the MYRIAD trial assessing school-based mindfulness programs.

She has published extensively on mindfulness interventions, mental health risk factors, and prosocial behavior in adolescents.
Griffiths actively engages in public outreach, presenting research findings to schools and educators. Her current projects aim to develop scalable mental health interventions for adolescents facing neurodevelopmental challenges.
