Frances Butler

Dr Frances Butler is a Health Services Research Fellow at York St John University's Institute for Health and Care Improvement, working in collaboration with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She holds a PhD (2023) in behavior change for self-management in pulmonary rehabilitation.

Her research focuses on

• Advancing patient-centered care
• Addressing health inequalities
• Behavioral interventions for chronic respiratory conditions

As an Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, she leads respiratory outpatient services and pulmonary rehabilitation programs across multiple clinical sites.
