Dr Fran McGregor is a Senior Lecturer at the Huddersfield Business School (University of Huddersfield), affiliated with the School of Business, Education and Law. She joined in 2013 from senior HR roles in police forces, specializing in strategic HR and stakeholder collaboration. Her research focuses on workplace bullying, neurodiversity, mental health, and HR management. She is also an Honorary Adjunct Faculty at Lovely Professional University since 2024 and a National Patron of The National Centre for Diversity since 2018.
Her work addresses critical issues like psychological contracts in contemporary workplaces, neurodiversity inclusion, and remote work challenges. Recent articles explore organizational strategies for remote work adaptation and neurodivergent employee well-being. She actively supervises PhD students and serves as an external examiner at multiple universities, including Plymouth and Sunderland.
McGregor’s research contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing dignity, workplace harmony, and ethical practices. She is a member of the Centre for Sustainability, Responsibility, Governance and Ethics and has held leadership roles in the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).
