Ripoll's research explores intertextuality in Flavian epic, the dialectics of 'big' and 'small' in Virgil's Georgics, and sacred spaces in Roman poetry. His recent articles address themes like series of ruins in the Aeneid, emotional landscapes, and heroic transitions from Homer to Silius Italicus.
