Frédérique Bone

Dr. Frédérique Bone is a Senior Researcher at the Emerging Technologies Department of the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe, Germany (since 2022). She holds associate researcher positions at SPRU (University of Sussex, UK) and BETA (University of Strasbourg, France). Her work focuses on research evaluation, science policy, and innovation dynamics in fields like biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare systems. She employs mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) to analyze research dynamics, including bibliometrics, text mining, and transition theory.

Her research spans projects like the digital and sustainability transformation of healthcare systems, evaluation of research organizations, and technology transfer in the bioeconomy.
