Forrest Tobey is a Professor of Music and Orchestra Director at Earlham College, located at 801 National Road, Richmond, Indiana. He holds a D.M.A. from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and teaches Western Music Theory, Music Technology, and oversees the computer music track. His work spans classical, jazz, and electro-acoustic music, with performances at Times Square and the National Gallery of Art. Tobey is deeply involved in Earlham's Tibetan Studies in India program and actively explores human/machine interfaces through real-time controllers like the Buchla Lightning and Roli Seaboard.
