Floris de Witte

Floris de Witte is a Professor of Law at the LSE Law School, part of the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research focuses on EU law in its broadest context, including EU legal geography and the contestation of EU law. He teaches courses on EU law and serves on the editorial boards of European Law Open and the German Law Journal. Fluent in Dutch, English, and French, he is also an affiliated member of LSE's European Institute.

His work bridges theoretical legal analysis with practical applications, emphasizing spatial and institutional dimensions of EU legal frameworks. He engages with interdisciplinary approaches to examine how legal norms interact with geographic and political dynamics within the European Union.
