Floris Biskamp is a researcher and sociologist at the University of Tübingen, leading the DFG-funded project 'Die Aushandlung von Sagbarkeitsgrenzen in politischen Diskursen' and coordinating the Habilitation project on the socio-political positioning of far-right parties. He holds an interdisciplinary background in Physics and Political Science, with a sociology dissertation on critical theory, postcolonial critique, and anti-Muslim racism. His work bridges political theory, migration policy, and racism studies, with a focus on right-wing populism and democratic discourse. Biskamp has held roles as a visiting researcher at Yale University, coordinator of the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung's research group on right-wing social policies, and guest professor at Freie Universität Berlin. His research emphasizes ideological analysis, political education strategies, and the intersection of cultural and economic dynamics in political movements.
