Florian Spohr is a senior researcher and academic staff member at the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Stuttgart, within the Department of Political Systems and Political Sociology. He holds a doctorate in political science (Dr. rer. soc.) from Ruhr-Universität Bochum and has extensive experience in both research and teaching roles across multiple German universities.

Recent Research Trajectory:
Since 2024, he has been leading the DFG-funded project „Interessengruppenpopulationen, Zugang und Verzerrungen im Mehrebenen-Lobbying (PABIM)“, which investigates interest group populations, access patterns, and biases in multi-level lobbying across German federal institutions and the EU. His 2025 publications on subnational lobbying and labor market policy reflect this ongoing focus on multi-level governance and policy feedback loops.
