Florencia Pita

Florencia Pita is Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania's Weitzman School of Design and principal of Florencia Pita & Co. Her design practice explores architectural applications across scales from domestic objects to urban landscapes, with emphasis on chromatic experimentation and novel forms.

Pita's work resides in permanent collections at MoMA, MAK Vienna, and the Art Institute of Chicago. She was featured in the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale's US Pavilion. Pita has held visiting professorships at Yale and Princeton, and currently teaches design studios and visual studies at SCI-Arc alongside her Penn appointment.

She earned an architecture degree from Argentina's National University of Rosario and Master's from Columbia University. Professional experience includes positions at Greg Lynn FORM, Gehry Partners, Eisenman Architects, and Asymptote.
