Jackilin Hah Bloom

Jackilin Hah Bloom is a Professor and Design Faculty at SCI-Arc, where she also serves as Graduate Thesis Coordinator and teaches in Design Studio and Visual Studies. She leads JHB Studio, a creative practice integrating art and culture into architectural projects across scales. Her work emphasizes socially engaged design, including contributions to Mexico’s Housing Laboratory (2018) and participation in the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale’s US Pavilion. She has held visiting professorships at Princeton, Yale, Ohio State, and Syracuse Universities. Bloom’s career includes collaborations with Florencia Pita and stints at Greg Lynn FORM and Kevin Daly Architects.

Education: Master of Architecture (UCLA) and Bachelor of Architecture (USC). Her research explores intersections of architecture with cultural narratives and urban systems. Professional activities include invited lectures, jury service, and exhibitions globally. Current affiliations include SCI-Arc’s academic leadership and her independent design practice.
