Florence Pojer

Florence Pojer heads the Protein Production and Structure Platform (PTPSP) at EPFL's School of Life Sciences. Her expertise spans integrative structural biology techniques including X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, SPR and biophysical characterization.

The PTPSP core facility supports macromolecule production and structural analysis across bacterial, insect and mammalian expression systems. Research applications include antibody engineering, membrane protein characterization, and therapeutic development against targets like SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins.

Recent publications demonstrate innovations in antibody-peptide conjugates for oncology, artificial metalloenzymes, and MHC-II epitope prediction algorithms. Educational roles include protein sciences instruction and oversight of doctoral training programs.
