Dr. Florence Kinnafick is a Reader in Physical Activity and Mental Health Research at the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM), affiliated with Loughborough University. She holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham and prior academic roles include Lecturer in Exercise Psychology at the University of Northampton (2012-2016). She is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research focuses on physical activity promotion in secure psychiatric settings, sleep quality improvement, and interventions for mental health service users. Key research groups include Lifestyle for Health and Wellbeing and Sport, Business, and Society.
