Florence Eccleston

Florence Eccleston is a PhD student and Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld Institute of Art, funded by CHASE with Garfield Weston Foundation support. Her research examines 14th-century English morality wall paintings, analyzing shifts in behavioral communication through case studies like St Pega's Church and Longthorpe Tower. She employs social history and emotions frameworks to reinterpret these artworks as tools for moral reflection rather than doctrinal education.
